Every given week, there’s a bevy of Disney-related news. Of course, half the time it relates to a corndog stand in Disneyland closing for two weeks, or some other nonsense that most of us don’t really care about.
Thus, we’re rounding up some recent news out of the House of Mouse that nerds might actually want to know. Here are some news items at the intersection of Disney + nerd that you might care about.
New Bride Unveiled at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion

An iconic attraction character recently received a refresh at Disneyland, and so far it’s getting rave reviews. Personally, I’m trying to avoid spoilers so I can judge it for myself, but hey feel free to do your thang.
Official Closing Date for Muppet*Vision 3D Announced
Don’t yell at me, I’m just the messenger! Also, to be honest… I’m not that attached to this attraction. OK fine you can yell at me now.
Disney announced that this classic attraction will be closing its doors for good this summer to make way for the new Monsters Inc. land. PizzeRizzo will also be whacked — I mean, closed. June 7 is the date to mark on your calendar.
